2603 FAIR OAK LN MCHENRY IL HOUSE FIRE
The McHenry Township Fire Protection District (MTFPD) was dispatched on 02/10/19 at 4:29PM to the 2600 block of Fair Oak Ln in unincorporated McHenry for a report of a house fire. MTFPD was on scene in four minutes and reported smoke from a one story house. All occupants of the home were able to evacuate prior to our arrival. Crews quickly located a fire in the crawl space of the residence. The fire was extinguished within ten minutes. There were no injuries. The home currently is not habitable. Damage is estimated to be approximately $10,000 The fire is being investigated by the MTFPD Fire Investigations Team and is not suspicious in nature. Nunda Fire and Wauconda Fire also responded to assist but were quickly returned.
